One day Matthew told me that there was a fire outside. Fortunately there was no fire, but the yellow-gold leaves on our tree in the sunshine, were brilliant! I couldn't ever catch the moment, but it was impressive. It really did look like it was on fire.
Matthew and Caleb helped Chris rake the leaves. There were a lot of leaves this year. I don't know if there were more leaves, but it felt like it. (Notice Caleb behind the tree.)
Matthew declared that this pile was his NEST and invited everyone to come and sit awhile.
But not until after they'd had some fun!

Wait a sec, one little birdie has flown the coop...
...to come see Mommy!
